Student Nurses Association

  • Mission statement: The purpose of this organization is to support students of IWU School of Nursing (SON) in their dedication to community service, professional development, and success in the nursing field. The organization aims to organize, represent, and mentor student nurses while fostering the development of skills necessary for responsible and accountable nursing practice and advocacy for high-quality healthcare
  • Dues: Nursing students can pay $15 each semester or $25 for the entire year to be members of the Student Nurses Association
  • We organize monthly volunteer events in collaboration with local organizations, some of which have included Midwest Food Bank and Home Sweet Home Ministries
  • We put on our biggest event of the year in October called Haunted Stevenson where we turn the nursing building into a haunted house
